Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy is a Nigerian Afrofusion singer and songwriter. He is the grandson of Benson Idonije, who hail from Mbiama, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Most recently, Soundcity MVP Awards named him the Artiste of the year and this was one of the four awards he received during the ceremony with the other three being the Listener’s choice award , Best Male MVP and Song of the year.
